Marc Witkowski, born in 1964, studied medicine at Vienna University and obtained his MD in 1989.

Speciality training in urology and andrology at the urology clinic of Dortmund City Hospital (Germany, directors: Professors Dr J Sökeland and Dr H Schulze). Obtained German specialty qualification in 1997 and moved to the university hospital for urology in Vienna (director: Professor Dr M Marberger). In 1999 he became a fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU).

Since 1999 he has been a consultant in the urology department at Community Hospital Hietzing, Neurologisches Zentrum Rosenhügel.

He is the author and producer of several scientific films on the topic of urology as well as the author of many publications.
